30 Days Later (An ATZ batrep in Comic Life)

Two posts in quick succession! Looks like I can't get enough of ATZ at the moment. I also played a couple of games of Flintloque but have not had a chance to write about them.

I took the opportunity to try my encounter deck again, along with something else I have been working on, a revised NPC movement table which takes into account the relationship between the acting group and the group nearest to it (Friend, enemy, neutral or zombie). It is still a work in progress, but I am happy with the results and feel they make the NPC behaviours a little more varied.

Anyway... on with the write up!:

There you have it. Hope you enjoyed it and apologies in advance if you spot any typos!

    1. That's great to know, Michael. I think it is an excellent tool. To my mind, a lot of the pleasure of gaming with miniatures comes from the visual aspects and the stories that come out during the game. As such, I think the 'comic book' format is a very good medium for reports!

I look forward to seeing your use of it!

    1. Cheers! I tend to take pictures first and figure out the details and dialogue after, so I am always pleased when it works out!

  4. You're welcome! As long as people keep on enjoying them, I'll keep on making them!

  5. Obviously not Sarah-Jane Smith! An exciting story nevertheless. Your mention of Flintloque :-( has caused me to revisit 'proper' Napoleonics - haven't I enough to paint!

    1. No, but I have her painted for games of Doctor Who!

Pleased you enjoyed the story. I like rules where a strong narrative emerges from the game mechanics.
